I hate to sound like a complete jerk but:

hehehe! Man, I wish I were up North with a certain someone than in this smog filled city watching every other person come out wearing an oxygen tank :(
I love summer but my goodness are we getting hit hard. It's wrong to complain though since all we poor Canadians did was complain about the harsh and long winter of 2004-5 but MAN, I feel like we live in Florida, not Toronto Canada. heehee bleck!

Work at the Cooling Centres has been really fulfilling though because not only do I get to help people, I hear the most interesting conversations from the people that come in. There was a man the other day who lives on the street and he brought in his dog to get some water for her because she was really sick :( Poor doggie...this man loves this dog more than himself and when I offered him a bottle of water, he took one sip and gave the rest to his dog...I think her name was Sascha. I almost cried to see how selfless some people are.
People have way too many wrong conceptions about the homeless and how they are all "greedy useless sponging off society miscreants"- some ARE like that, not ALL.
This man wasn't "scary" or going to "Rape me and take my money"...all he wanted was a drink for his companion. It was so touching.

Yes, working there has really opened my eyes to the city I live in and am proud to contribute to...say what you will about the Dot but I love being here and wouldn't leave for anything- not EVEN going up North to be with my love :P
Well..maybe hehehe! j/k

In other news: summer school is going well, I've lost 10 pounds walking to and from, work has been FANTASTIC this summer and I love my family and friends, near and far.

THAT's why they call em the woods...

Oh my gosh I can't believe how fast summer is flying, especially since I'm in summer school and working, I BARELY have any time for Meeeee anymore.
I can't believe how awesome Chinese theatre is though. The colours and the dancing/movement really do tell the most fascinating stories. My favoruite has to be the faerie tale called the "Nightengale". LOvely!
Jeremy wrote to me finally and wow, you never realize how much email and the internet means to you until it's no longer an option. His writing is sooo sloppy lol but it warms my heart to see the effort put into it.
Things are going well for him. His first day was pretty tough though. I suppose the communication between students with disabilities and himself would be shaky...but I know he's doing great now. His fave student is named Patty. Aww. She's a good dancer and has a crush on him. AWW!

I'm doing volunteer work at TO's cooling centres. I have my Red Cross certificate and so does Frank so we decided to put it to good use. So if I'm not at school or at work? I'm there helping people literally "chill out" ;)

That's all for me. Peace

What becomes of the broken-hearted?

Well, Jeremy's officially in North Bay now and it sounds so silly and corny but I miss him so much. We lived together in the same house, same bed for almost a month and now I won't get to see him or touch him for 2 months :( I immediately signed up for summer school just to keep me from going crazy and of course, I know I'll be fine because of my parents, friends and lifestyle but dear me, taking away someone that important for that long is a real low blow.
Toronto has finally let down the smog warnings and precautions that lasted the past 2 weeks. It was so hot and gross here last week, most of us didn't do anything but stay A/C'd and it was a very smart move on all of our parts. Frankie installed an A/C in our apartment thankfully so we are perma-cool ;) lol
I'm really glad Frank and I share an apartment because he fills this gap of "missing male companion" like you wouldn't believe. I think when I go back to school though, Jeremy and I will move in together. Then it will be Frank, Jeremy and I :) Perfect! I couldn't leave Frank because he's one of my best friends and just because I love my boyfriend doesn't mean Frank gets kicked to the curb. NOOOO way!

Work has been going well. Natural highlights= more tips from drunken strangers. LOL!

I'm back and I don't know how to say it in German :(

Hi everyone! I'm back home from Germany (and have been for a couple days. Silly jetlag lol) I am still in shock over how beautiful that country is and how kind everyone there was, especially when you don't speak German *blush*
So Jeremy and I left on May 7th and his parents came by the 12th, which gave us a few days alone and also with his grandparents ("grobmutter" and "grobvuter") who were so wonderful to me! I've never eaten that well in my entire life! A warning to vegetarians? hehehe meat is a god there :P
Anyway, we spent the first week just putzing about the city of Munich, which is where the majority of the population live. We saw German theatre (for yours truly, that was amazing!) and we made wine in a town called Franconia, and the people there make all their money off of wine alone. It was YUMMY!!! We went on mini tours of the city and surrounding cities too. LOTS of pictures!
The highlight though as I mentioned before I left was King Ludwig's castles in Bavaria, the Neuschwanstein especially! IT was HUGE. There were so many rooms and you had to stay with the group because you could get lost way too easily. There was so much history about the castles too, one of them was designed after Ludwig saw Louis in France's Versailles. haha copycat! It was surrounded by the Black Forest and we had to take a ski lift up there. The air felt so clean...it was a real nice change from Toronto hahaha
Every town has some attraction, such as old castles, monasteries, churches or, medieval houses etc, art museums and the like. It was like New York but cleaner and with a richer and more appealing history! I really liked Berlin the best because of all the churches. We went to church in Munich every Sunday we were there and it was really awesome to hear the preacher speak about God in German. haha sounding super pissed off but really wasn't! German is just a sharp sounding language.

And of course, being with Jeremy was the best part :) He was the perfect guide and didn't try to trick me, except when we ordered beer hahaha I asked for a plate of this weird green stuff instead and it was embarrassing. I found out later it was dip but it was GROSS. His family was perfect and they loved me :) I'm so happy and proud to be accepted into his family after only 7 months. *:)*

I missed Frankie and my TO friends though. Jeremy's leaving for North Bay on the 20th for camp. I'm going to be so lost without him :( das ist leben ("that's life") hehehe

Auf Wiedersehen Germany!

Dont you try to rain on my perfect day!

well, in less than 2 weeks I will be speaking German poorly to Jeremy's nonna and poppy. Am I nervous? YES. I feel like I'm going to throw up lol
I've never been anywhere outside of Canada until I met him. He's taken me to NYC and now to Germany. I am so full of love and freakin' apprecitation for him I could burst and shoot the love everywhere! *eee* I cannot wait to see the castle which inspired Disney to vamp it up for Sleeping Beauty and even Cinderella! and and...we MIGHT go to EURO DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

SOOO excited. The excited weighs over the nervousness by 100!
I love being done school, my boyfriend, my mates and my life!

I guess everyone now and then gets the blues or the mean reds.
I don't like the way the seasons change people sometimes, like they change with the times and you don't know why. I guess I just like things to stay the same. Is that so wrong?
